This week in biology, we'll be studying organic molecules. We will perform a two-day lab and end the week with a quiz on Friday. Next week will be the end of the biochemistry unit - students will be taking the unit test after a day of review.
Objective 9/18: Scientists will describe the four types of organic macromolecules in order to compare and contrast their characteristics. (see: macromolecules notes)
HW 9/18: read and answer ch. 2-3 (chapter two, section three) DUE: Thursday 9/20; wear closed-toe shoes for Wednesday 9/19 and Thursday 9/20 (lab days!)
Objective 9/19, 9/20: Scientists will perform various tests for the presence of organic macromolecules in order to discover what macromolecules exist in everyday substances. (see: macromolecules lab, lab answers, and lab II)
