bio: Week of 9/10 - 9/14

This week in biology, our focus will be on the versatility and importance of water. Water plays such an integral role in our everyday lives, though it may appear to be a very commonplace. We will perform a two-day lab where students get to play with water and test their skills of inquiry. Students will spend the latter part of the week tying what they observed in the lab to what they have read in their textbooks to what we will discuss in class.

Objective 9/10, 9/11: Scientists will perform various procedures in a water lab in order to observe and investigate unique properties of water. (see: water lab)

HW 9/11: finish Water Lab DUE Wednesday 9/12

Objective 9/12, 9/13: Scientists will discuss the different properties of water in order to understand why water is so amazing! (see: water notes, water poster)

HW 9/12, 9/13: label Water Lab activities with the appropriate water properties DUE Friday 9/14; study for Water Quiz Friday 9/14

Objective 9/14: Scientists will show what they know about the properties of water in order to earn 80+% on their quiz.
